Handprint Turkey

Pin It now! I made another turkey using Dawson's handprints...we sent this one to daddy! Hopefully it gets to him before Thanksgiving!

I traced one of Dawson's shoes for the turkey's body (I wanted to use his foot, but he was sleeping when I decided to put it all together so his shoe was the next best thing.) I had traced his hand a few days ago for another turkey that we made and I made sure to make and keep a stencil of his handprint for any future projects that I might need it for. It worked out perfectly here, because like I said, he was sleeping when I decided to do this.

I really like how this one turned out. I think we'll do it every year so we can see the turkey grow as Dawson's hands and feet grow!

Such a cute craft!
I wish I had thought to take tracings of Little's hands when she was littler.
I have a t-shirt I can't bear to part with because it has one of the few sets of footprints I did with her.

I hope that Daddy gets his Turkey in time too. I know how hard it can be to get things on time to our guys when they're deployed (CG brat and current AF spouse).

Thanks for stopping by! Keeping the SITS love flowing!
