O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree

Today's theme for the Holly Bloggy Christmas Bash is Christmas trees! This year I bought a small tree to put on an end table in between our couches. The tree that we normally put up at Christmas time is in storage. My husband is deployed and I knew there was no way that I would be able to put up a big tree by myself, but of course we had to have a tree for Christmas, so here it is:

All of our decorations and ornaments are also in storage, so I had to buy a few to decorate our new tree. We don't have a theme for either one of our trees, but I am thinking next year we will decorate the smaller tree in some kind of theme.

This is going to be Dawson's 2nd Christmas and we've started a tradition of buying him his own ornament every year. Last year he got a "Baby's 1st Christmas" ornament and this year when I went to the Hallmark store to look at ornaments, Dawson pretty much picked out his own. He kept pointing at the Bolt ornament and he LOVES dogs so I figured it would be the perfect ornament to get him this year.

To see other Christmas trees and to join in on the fun, head on over to A Baby Changes Everything and link up!

Tomorrow's theme is Christmas crafts and it will be hosted by Blue Eyed Blessings.

Love your tree! I am finding christmas decorations all over the house, M removes them from the tree and carries them with her!

aww, it's cute! when you go back to "regular" life, maybe that tree can be dawson's own little tree! my guys loved having their own tree to decorate at that age--no grown ups!

Small table top trees were part of the original European tradition - so you can say you're being traditional this year :)

I love your tree. Our tradition is to get a new ornament for Ashlyn every year, too. My parents did it for me so we're doing it for her. :)
