I did most the work this time, but I couldn't have done it without Dawson. :-)
Here is what we used for our Fall project:
Construction paper, tissue paper squares, glue, scissors
and not pictured -- a pencil, a marker and Dawson's arm. :-)
and not pictured -- a pencil, a marker and Dawson's arm. :-)
And here is what we turned it all in to:
I traced Dawson's arm from just below the elbow all the way down to his fingers. Boy was that hard! It took me at least 5 tries before I got something we could use. And I tried to spread his fingers out a little to make the tracing more "tree like" but that wasn't happening. Anyway, as you can see his arm is the tree and I used tissue paper for the fallen leaves. His little arm is so cute! :-)
You probably noticed that the right side of the paper is pretty plain. That's because I have another little project planned for later this week or maybe next week and I am going to add it to this one. I'll definitely be posting it here when it's all finished. I'm excited to see how it's going to turn out.
This art project was inspired by 2 other projects that I recently read about in 2 fabulous blogs! You can check out those projects at My Bilingual Boys and Funny Days with Mommy and Maddie.

RE: Pay it Forward
Thanks for playing! Give me a couple of weeks to get it together. I will let you know when it is in the mail. I just need you to email me your address.
Very cute! Those days when I was allowed to have creative input ended and now I get really interesting stuff. I write down my daughter's interpretations so we can remember what she made afterwards!
So sweet!!
I did a similar one with my son but used fingerprints.... I am for sure going to try this one with him! He will love gluing the tissue paper on!
