Muffin Tin Monday - Green

Pin It now!
Muffin Tin Monday at Her Cup Overfloweth

This week's Muffin Tin Monday theme is the color GREEN. I had a lot of fun picking out green foods for Dawson's tin, I was even able to throw in 2 new foods that he had never tried before.

Top Row: pasta salad, ritz crackers with avocado, cucumber slices
Bottom Row: key lime yogurt, goldfish crackers, lucky charms marshmallows

The two new foods that he tried were avocado and cucumbers and he LOVED them both! He was even sucking the avocado off the cracker. And for the second week in a row he finished everything in his tin (except the cucumbers, but only because he was having a hard time chewing them, I need to slice them thinner next time) and he wanted more! I gave him more pasta salad and made him a pb&j sandwich and he gobbled it all up. I need to start putting more food in his tins from now on.

Here is the messy boy enjoying his tin:

To see what others came up with this week, head on over to Muffin Tin Mom.

I have a giveaway for a $25 Amazon gift card that starts today! You can enter here. :-)

I had the same yogurt and gold fish you did. The avocado looks great. I will need to try this with JDaniel.

Boy did he look like he enjoyed that. I wish my youngest would eat that well. There are about 3 things she'll eat and one of them is milk. LOL

My little one has loved avocado since she was 6-8 months old. She can eat an entire avocado on her own! Glad your little one likes it too.

Awesome - and you also reminded me of a bunch of things I am sure the Buddha Bear would like (the yogurt and the pasta).

Ok, green marshmallows???? That's kinda cheating. What kid isn't going to love marshmallows????? But I can admit, I love them too! Happy St. Patty's Day!

What a fun, messy green tin! My kids adored avocado too, especially when they were younger... now they're big guacamole fans.
