Easy DIY Bow Holder

Pin It now!

Ashlynn has a lot of bows and until recently they were all just thrown in a bucket in the bathroom, so anytime I needed one I would have to dig through them all to find the color/one that I wanted. I've seen so many cute DIY bow holders on pinterest but the one that caught my eye the most was one that was made out of a picture frame (that's not the exact pin that I saw but I couldn't find it so it will do). It seriously took me MONTHS to find the perfect frame. I'm picky like that. Hubby actually found it at Target and when he showed it to me I knew that was the one that I wanted. If you already have a frame on hand that you love, you can make this project even more thrifty!

Here's what I used: (sorry for the crappy pic, I took it with my phone!)

picture frame, hooks, glue gun, and ribbon

Here's what it looked like when I was finished. I used different sized ribbon and tried to space them out evenly (I just eyeballed it, I'm too impatient to do that much measuring... I did measure for the hooks, though)

I love the way it looks with bows on it.

I think it makes cute decor for Ashlynn's room, too! :)  (Can you tell which pic was taken with my phone and which one was taken with our camera? haha)

What size frame did you use? I don't want to get one too big but want a decent size :) Thanks!
