Muffin Tin Monday - Thanksgiving

Pin It now!
Muffin Tin Monday at Her Cup Overfloweth

Happy Monday! This week's Muffin Tin Monday theme is Thanksgiving. I am so excited for Thanksgiving so I decided to give Dawson a little preview of what Thanksgiving dinner will be like...

Top Row: milk, turkey and cheese sandwich, mini pumpkin pie
Bottom Row: mashed potatoes and gravy, turkey and cheese sandwich, peas and carrots

After I filled his tin I thought to myself that I might have made his lunch a little too big, I thought I was going to have to throw some of it away, but Dawson LOVED it and ate all of it! That's my big boy! This was his first taste of turkey, too, and he couldn't get enough of it! He gobbled (Ha! gobble gobble!) it right up!

He's not very good with a spoon yet, but I gave him one with the mashed potatoes and he loved using it! I'm going to have to give him the spoon more often. Usually I feed him the things that he can't eat with his hands.

He loved the spoon so much that he ate his sandwich with it, too!

Going for the sandwich... (Notice his tongue sticking out! He's really concentrating!)

Got it!

Victory tastes good!!!

I put most of his food on the spoon for him and then he did the rest. We're going to have to practice a bit more and pretty soon he'll be able to do it all by himself.
