That is ridiculous! For me a sick child is always a priority and I feel that if you specialised and decided to do pediatrics that you should be available 24/7 Our Doctors are 3 in the practice and there is always one on call and they are always available I hope and pray that he will get better soon and that the rash and everything will dissapearTrudiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04473287140018177669noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2814457560953570436.post-91546009725524293322010-01-17T12:07:55.908-08:002010-01-17T12:07:55.908-08:00I am glad he is doing better. I know ho...I'm so glad he's feeling better! I know how hard to is to watch your child just lay around not feeling well and there's just nothing you can do to make it better! It's the worst feeling in the world!

My regular doctor is the same way! It makes me so damn mad! I cant tell you how many times I've called and had to leave a message because no one would answer and then my call was never returned! It's just irresponsible to me!

I hope that Dawson is feeling better and that his fever doesn't come back!Deehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04582704750863480776noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2814457560953570436.post-16548786632755982022010-01-17T04:28:22.628-08:002010-01-17T04:28:22.628-08:00so glad to hear he's feeling a bit better! th...so glad to hear he's feeling a bit better! that stinks about your doctor. are you able to switch doctors again? it's terrible not to return urgent messages. we are very fortunate that our pediatrician is wonderful--seems like we see him less now b/c the kids are older, but he is still wonderful! take good care, get lots of rest and push those fluids! i like to give mine popsicles when they aren't well--something my mom always did.danitahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13385786863345002062noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2814457560953570436.post-42859531632936299042010-01-16T18:54:55.160-08:002010-01-16T18:54:55.160-08:00Glad he seems to be doing better! I had never hear...Glad he seems to be doing better! I had never heard about a rash after a fever and am glad to know this for future reference so I don't totally freak out :( I too cannot seem to find a thorough enough pediatrician that has all the things I would like to have in an office/pediatric.Amandahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08975217376062306374noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2814457560953570436.post-30486918775803748662010-01-16T16:38:06.078-08:002010-01-16T16:38:06.078-08:00I am glad he is feeling better. I asked my Hubby ...I am glad he is feeling better. I asked my Hubby (who is a PA in Peds) about the rash and he said that as long as the fever already broke, it is probally Roseola. It usualy occurs in children 6 months to 2 years old. You can look it up on Web Md and get pictures for comparison. It occurs at the END of an illness, so he should be getting better and his fever should not go back up.
I hate it when Doctors don't call back, especialy when it comes to your baby!
Dolli-MamaAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09440764801030489008noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2814457560953570436.post-51675177128065846482010-01-16T15:33:51.595-08:002010-01-16T15:33:51.595-08:00I'm glad he is doing better.
