*happy dance* It's my SITS day!!! What does that mean, you ask? Well, basically it means I am the featured blogger over at The Secret is in the Sauce. *applause* Thank you, thank you!
First of all I would like to welcome all my SITStas. I have made so many friends from SITS and I am looking forward to making many more.
I guess I should introduce myself! My name is Jamie and I'm a 26 year old stay-at-home mom. I am married to a handsome sailor named Dave and we have an adorable son named Dawson who is 18 months old. I love cooking, baking, doing crafts with Dawson and just hanging out with my family. You'll find a lot of the crafts that we do and the things that I bake in my blog.
My little family:
Here are a few posts that I would love you check out:
Dawson Dances with Goofy - This is a short video of Dawson dancing with Goofy at Disneyland. He LOVES to dance, in fact he started moving to music before he could even stand up.
Egg Carton Butterfly Craft - Me and Dawson love doing crafts together. This is our most recent craft.
Puppy Cake Pops - I love to make cake pops or anything else that involves baking and being creative at the same time.
Thank you so much for stopping by my blog!!! And a BIG thank you to Heather and Tiffany for letting me have my day and for creating such a great community for all of us. :)
HAPPY SITS DAY!! What an adorable blog!! I look forward to following more!! :-D Thanks to you and your husband for all you do for our country!! :-D

ReplyDeleteA heartfelt Thank You to your husband for all he does to served our country. My grandpa was in the Navy for 19 years, then got out and was in the Army for 16 (oh, the good ol' days!), so I know of the sacrifices you both are making. And I am grateful.
I hope you enjoyed your SITS day.

ReplyDeleteI loved reading about your husband's homecoming. I always cry at stories like that! It makes me think of when my dad came home from Dessert Storm - my sister was only 4 months old when he left, and though he wasn't gone for very long (thankfully it ended shortly after he went!) there was a slight adjustment period. But things went smoothly!
I'm so happy your family is back together, and looking forward to reading more about you!
Happy SITS Day!

ReplyDeleteHi Jamie-
ReplyDeleteYour husband's homecoming brings back memories for me of 27 years ago when my husband came back from a deployment. He wasn't on a carrier, but they all stood along the edge. It seemed like forever until we were allowed to go onboard. Nice story, give him an extra hug for being such a great guy serving his country. Your little guy is pretty darn cute. So nice that you are writing about his life. When he is grown you will cherish these posts more than you can ever known now. Enjoy Happy Sits Day
Love your egg carton butterfly. I cannot wait until I have a place of my own again where I can craft with my 3 year old and not have to worry about paint spills (so much).
