We are officially on our way to San Diego! I'm so excited to be moving back because that means my husband's 8 month deployment is almost over! We haven't seen each other since the beginning of July. The last time he saw Dawson (in person - he's seen lots of pictures and videos) he looked like this:
He was 8 months old and had just learned to sit up and was still army crawling! He didn't have any teeth and he only said "mama" and "dada" but he didn't know what those words meant. He had just started eating stage 3 baby foods and puffs...
Now our baby boy is 16 months old, he has 8 teeth and says close to 30 words and phrases. He's been walking since just after his 1st birthday and he has even mastered "running" and walking backwards. He is so smart and so sweet. I can't wait for Dave to see how much our baby has grown and learned.
He loves to read...
And smile...
And make Mama laugh...
He does so much now, it's crazy! And I just can't get enough of this sweet face...
And I know Daddy is so excited to be able to spend everyday with him again. Just a little over a month until we can do things as a family again!
In the meantime I will be trying to unpack and get all settled in our new house. Hopefully it doesn't take too long and hopefully I'll have it all done by the time hubby comes home.
As soon as I do get everything settled I want to start updating my blog regularly again. I was having so much fun doing new crafts with Dawson and then things got really busy around here and I haven't had time to do a lot of the things that I want to. Hopefully it won't be long until things are back to normal.
California, here we come...again!
Oh yay yay yay!!! Safe travels, to all of you. He'll be so excited to see Dawson.
