Last month I posted about a postcard exchange that was started by Children Grow, Children Explore, Children Learn. So far we have received postcards from California, Texas, North Carolina, Washington and South Africa!
Here are a list of people that I have found are participating so far...
- Children Grow, Children Explore, Children Learn
- My Bilingual Boys
- Mouse Grows, Mouse Learns
- Fun with Little Mouse
- Three A's and a C
- Mind Games
- The Adventures of Bear
- Adventures in Mommydom
- Just Playin' Around
- Refined Metals Academy
- From My Kitchen To Yours
I think this is an awesome and fun way to help kids learn about other states and other parts of the world. Dawson is too young to be learning stuff like this right now, but I am definitely saving all the postcards that we get for when he is older.
I'll be sending postcards from Utah. I've sent out 11 already and can't wait to send out more!
This is such a great project. I did something similar when I was teaching school. We kept a large map in the hall and attached the cards to it for others to enjoy to.
ReplyDeleteOh oh oh how fun! Can I play next month?? I'm moving in 3 weeks so I want to play with my new address????
