This is my first time participating in Saturday Picture Surprise. I really didn't start organizing my pictures by date until October '08. I do have a few random folders that I labeled with dates, so I will participate the best that I can. :-)
This week's picture surprise is supposed to be December '07, picture 62. I don't have a December '07 folder but I do have one from January '08 so I will go ahead and use that one.
This is from our trip to Las Vegas. My husband is on one of the rides on top of the Stratosphere. I didn't dare to go on any of them, but my husband went on all 3! We had so much fun on this trip. I've always loved Vegas because there is so much to do!

ReplyDeleteOkay that looks just BEYOND scary. How high up is that ride? shudder
ReplyDeleteThere are 3 different rides on top of the stratosphere...I checked the website and that ride is 866 feet above the ground! The highest ride is 1,081 feet above the ground! (It shoots you up and back down)

ReplyDeleteI have ridden the one that shoots you up, but that was when I was 16 and more daring. The older I get the more scared I get! *lol*

ReplyDeleteI just had to comment on your picture because my hubby & I JUST got back from Vegas, and we took a bunch of pics of people on those rides! We couldn't believe anyone would actually willingly ride on any of those...LOL! Kudos to your hubby for being brave enough to do ALL 3! :0)
